We had a fabulous experience with Bikemotions. Ester was incredibly responsive with all of the arrangements, provided detailed information on how to take the train from Barcelona, and a pleasure to work with. Albert was a delight, and we knew we’d be in for a great day from the moment he greeted us when we stepped off the train. He is charming, funny, and so knowledgeable about the region (he spent his life here and also has a vineyard). Through Albert, we learned quite a bit about the culture of the region, the land, the crops and farming practices. Our tour of the Albet I Noya winery was spectacular — learned so much about the introduction of organic farming practices to the area as well as wine production (and the wines we tasted were wonderful, too). The region is beautiful and a bike is the perfect way to experience the land, the villages, the vineyards and the incredible views. This is an easy excursion from Barcelona and highly recommended.

We had the most amazing time on our tour. We have visited many wine regions and have taken many vineyard tours, so at this point we feel like we don’t hear much new information. That was so not the case here. Albert taught us so much not just about the wine of the region, but the history, the culture. It was such a personalized experience, and the pace was perfect. We weren’t rushing from one tasting to the next; we took our time relishing the experience. I am so glad we found Albert and I would recommend his tours to anyone who visits. This was one of the highlights of our entire trip.

The day was perfectly organised by Ester from the office. She built a perfect “tailor made” day that was exactly what we expected and more. Our guide Albert was the best guide ever. He was so kind and professional and very good with kids. It was truly a magical day.

I could not have enjoyed this adventure more. Albert was a delight, full of energy and enthusiasm. He is so concerned with making sure his clients are safe and having a good time. I had never ridden an e-bike before. It was easy and my wife and I had a blast. We learned a lot about the farming aspect of growing grapes from him. He still helps the family grow their grapes so has a lot of knowledge to impart. After riding for about 2 hours, with a few educational stops thrown in, we went to the Nadal winery. That too was a delight. We had a very nice tour after which we had a light meal and tasted some wine. Albert joined us and regaled us with stories of life in the region and even taught us how to make tomato bread. The start of the trip is just a 35 minute drive from the city center. I highly recommend this as a fun way to spend half of a day and a change of pace from touring the city.

Albert met at train station, and even though we were a little late, he was waiting there for us with a great big smile. We had our luggage, so he was able to store it for us. He instructed us on the bikes and off we went. He gave us history about the area, taught us about grapes, grapevines, season, wine and so much more. After a full day, he took us to our hotel and left us to rest. We had arranged for him to spend the next day with us but this time we traveled by van. We visited several more vineyards, the chocolate factory, and had a another fabulous lunch. Then, sadly, it had to end, and Albert dropped us off at the Barcelona airport.
This “tour’ was probably the best experience I have ever had. My friends agreed it was a great 2 days in a beautiful place.

Where to start! Albert is in a word, incredible! He is the creme of the crop in tour guides. During our recent 12 day trip to Barcelona, my boyfriend and I decided to take a one day cycling and vineyard excursion to the Penedes and boy are we glad we did. We both agreed that this was our favorite day of the trip. Albert leaves no stone unturned. He is extremely passionate, accommodating and knowledgeable. We enjoyed every minute of the day and didn’t want it to end. The vineyards are beautiful and Albert’s knowledge nicely complemented what we learned from the families who owned the vineyards (we left feeling like we could start our own vineyard.) The biking is fun and Albert makes sure everything is very well planned from providing us with water bottles to always pointing out the bathrooms he was so helpful! By the end of the day we were both in awe of all that we had seen and heard and will always feel Albert’s passion when we think of that day! YOU MUST GO ON ONE OF ALBERTS TOURS!!!! Simply the best.

We booked a day cycling in the Penedes with cava tasting as a private group for ourselves and 8 friends and we had a superb day! When we left Barcelona in the morning, the rain was pouring down so a full day cycling was not so appealing – however as soon as we met up with Albert, our guide for the day, he had a plan B arranged for us. We were grateful he was so flexible with arrangements as it meant when the rain finally stopped we still managed to fit in some cycling which we were so glad we had not missed due to the weather.
We had lunch arranged for us at a small organic winery which was really delicious and we felt the hosts and Albert went out of their way to make this a special day.
Highly recommended!

Disfrutamos de un domingo perfecto recorriendo varios pueblos del Penedes en bici con bikemotions, Esther y Albert. Organización perfecta con comida incluida en el pantano de foix y un recorrido apto para toda la familia. Las bicis muy cómodas y adaptadas a cada miembro de la familia.
Una actividad diferente y muy recomendable.

Magnífica salida para ir con familia y amigos y conocer de cerca caminos y senderos del Penedés. Se transita entre viñedos con bellas vistas de Montserrat.
Comida en una cava con explicación de la elaboración de vinos ecológicos.
Un día muy completo, y nada cansado pues se hace de manera sana (en bicicleta) pero relajada (la bici es eléctrica).
Totalmente recomendable.
